Task 1: Interland
Dear participants,
Welcome to another week of our online course on digital citizenship. This week, we have an exciting activity lined up for you that will allow you to apply your knowledge and promote ethical awareness among students using Interland as a way to promote digital safety and cyberbullying awareness, promoting positive behavior online.
Here are the steps you need to follow:
1. Create a teaching sequence: Using the insights gained from the discussions and the Interland material, design a detailed didactic sequence that incorporates Interland as a tool to promote ethical and digital awareness and meaningful engagement among students. Make sure to align the sequence with the themes covered in Units 7 and 8 of our course.
2. Propose an intervention plan: In addition to the didactic sequence, we encourage you to propose an intervention plan where students become active participants in promoting digital citizenship within their own schools. Brainstorm innovative ideas that empower students to develop awareness and take responsibility for their online behavior.
3. Document your work: Compile your didactic sequence and intervention plan in a clear and organized manner. You can use any format that suits you best, such as a written document, presentation slides, or multimedia presentation.
Remember, this activity is an excellent opportunity for you to apply your knowledge, think critically, and contribute to fostering a culture of responsible digital citizenship. We encourage you to be creative, innovative, and mindful of the themes we have covered in our course.
If you have any questions or require further clarification, please don't hesitate to reach out to our course facilitators or fellow participants in the discussion forums.
Wishing you a productive and engaging week as you work on this activity!
